Combustible Gas Leak Detector

DOWNLOAD MANUAL

Combustible Gases are highly inflammable and explosive leading to hazards to life and property, if proper precautions are not taken. To overcome this drawback, Husaini Engineers manufactures combustible gas leak detector which ensure safety by detecting even minute amounts of combustible gas vapours and hydrocarbon particles in ambient air.

Semiconductor sensors used in these monitors are confirming to IP65 class of protection. The combustible gas leak detector are assembled in poly carbonate casing with electronic digital readout and audible/visual alarm provided. These detectors are particularly calibrated on methane in % of LEL.

Semiconductor sensors detect gases by a chemical reaction that takes place when the gas comes in direct contact with the sensor. Tin dioxide is the most common material used in semiconductor sensors, and the electrical resistance in the sensor is decreased when it comes in contact with the monitored gas.

The resistance of the tin dioxide is typically around 50 kΩ in air but can drop to around 3.5 kΩ in the presence of 1% methane. This change in resistance is used to calculate the gas concentration. Semiconductor sensors are commonly used to detect hydrogen, oxygen, alcohol vapor, and harmful gases such as carbon monoxide. One of the most common uses for semiconductor sensors is in carbon monoxide sensors.

Gaseous ammonia is continuously monitored in industrial refrigeration processes and biological degradation processes, including exhaled breath. Detectors usually operate near the lower exposure limit of 25ppm however, ammonia detection for industrial safety requires continuous monitoring above the fatal exposure limit of 0.1%.

Leakages can occur anywhere where gases or liquids are stored or transported. It is important to identify these quickly in order to take appropriate measures and to prevent damage to people, the environment and the facility. Detection instruments with corresponding pumps must have rapid response times, in order to detect even slight changes in concentration. Extreme reliability is the minimum requirement for these instruments.

We are prime manufacturers and our instruments such as combustible gas leak detector and chlorine gas leak detector is installed at various sites from last two decades.
